WILLIAM WINCH: ORIGINS OF A GUARDIAN
A hike on a snowy winter’s morning transports William Winch and his brother, Hugo, into an adventure unlike anything they could have imagined, with giants, a vengeful queen, vanishing islands and a battle-worn land in desperate need of help.
William is about to discover that he is no ordinary thirteen-year-old, but instead possesses an ancient and powerful gift linked to his unknown father.
Follow William and Hugo’s extraordinary journey as they make new friends and terrifying enemies, and learn that even in the midst of loss, there is always hope.
G.P. Hawker grew up in Buckinghamshire, England. From a young age he would spend hours drawing and escaping to worlds created in his head. It wasn’t until much later in life though that he discovered a passion for writing stories. In his 40s he was diagnosed with ADHD and that is now very much part of his identity. He lives in Oxfordshire with his two children.
